4 Months Old, Already!

It is so hard to believe. I know I say that every month, but wow they are going by quick. Each day is so fun - seeing what Will will do next. He is ticklish and laughs when I tickle him. He is lifting his head up when on his tummy. He rolled over once - but I think it was an accident. He smiles all the time - the best is in the morning when I go to get him out of the crib! Did I mention he sleeps 7, 8, or even 9 hours a night? It is great! All and all, we are very lucky. We have our fussy moments - and when I say we, I mean all of us. Typically they start with Will being fussy, but by the end Chris, Abby, Murray and I are all fussy. We get over it though!

We had our four month appointment today. Will weighs 12lbs, 14oz. He is 25 1/4 inches long. He is tall and has a rather large head for his weight (gets both from Dad). He got 5 more vaccines - 4 of which were shots. I didn't cry this time, but I kinda wanted to. The doctor said he looks great and that she'd see us in 2 more months! Here are a few pictures of our Big Boy! I've blogged a lot this month about things as they've happened, from going to church for the first time, to celebrating Valentine's Day, meeting new friends and more. Babies Everywhere!

It definitely feels that way these days! We got together with friends on Saturday to watch Aggie Basketball. It was the first time that Avery, Preston and Will were together. Here are a couple pictures of them. They make Will look huge! He can't wait to play with his friends and teach them all he's learned in the past 4 months.

40 Years!

Chris's parents will celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary this year. As part of the celebration, they renewed their wedding vows on Saturday night at their church. There were approximately 100 couples that renewed their vows, ranging from 25 year anniversaries to 62 year anniversaries. The church hosted a dinner and dance in honor of the couples. It was a great time, a lot of fun, and very very special. Chris and I are very lucky to both have parents that have been together for a long time and have showed us what marriage is all about. It is wonderful to celebrate these milestones with them!

It was also Will's first time to go to church. He was wide awake for about 10 minutes and then slept thru the entire mass.

My parents were married on February 5, 1972. Today they have been married 36 years! Mom and Dad, Happy Anniversary! Thank you for being such wonderful parents and for loving me and Carrie, and each other, as much as you do! Have a wonderful 36th Anniversary! I love you!

No Longer the New Kid on the Block

Today two of my best friends, Kristi and Kelli, are having babies! Kristi is having an little girl, is a week past her due date and is being induced this morning. Kelli is having a little boy, is due Feb 3rd, and has a C-Section scheduled. Will is no longer the New Kid on the Block, but he can't wait to have friends close by to play with! I'm pretty excited about it too! I bet he will wonder why his birthday isn't February 1st as he gets older. :)

We went to Kristi and Chris's house on Wednesday to watch the A&M/t.u. basketball game. Here are a few pictures from the night.
