Our plan was to spend the entire weekend celebrating Father's Day. Papa Jack (my dad) wanted to take Will to the zoo, so on Saturday we all went to the zoo and had a great time! Will loves giraffes and says some form of the word (I can't even begin to spell how he says it) when he sees them in pictures, t-shirts, books, etc. He was really excited to see them in person. He also loved seeing the kangaroos (roos) and birds (beards). We rode the merry go round for the first time (he sat on the giraffe of course) and he loved it! When it was over he kept saying "More, more, more...". After 4.5 hours at the zoo, we went to McDonald's for lunch and Will had his first happy meal. He takes after his mom, because he loves his fast food!
Yesterday morning we woke up, I put sausage rolls in the oven for breakfast, Chris opened his present and it was a hit (new Wake board), and then it started going down hill fast! I somehow caught a stomach bug that left me worthless for the rest of the day! Chris was so sweet, took care of me and entertained Will. He even planted more plants in the front yard while Will and I napped. The doctor called me in some meds in the afternoon that seemed to help. I was able to eat some soup and a baked potato last night and keep it down! YEAH! So, needless to say Chris gets a redo on Father's Day, but boy was yesterday a day that shows just how good of a daddy and husband he is! I love you Chris!
